    1. Well Jazz, I left at 4:30 am to photograph a bridge with a very long exposure. About an hour later I saw that water or maybe coffee had got on the lens ruining all 150 RAW files. So I shot this boat twenty times until the rope was almost tack sharp. Then in processing I turned it into a very grainy Calotype Negative, changing the shadows and highlights to pure black and white. Obsessive, moi? 😱

      1. I’d say “Focused. Determined. Perhaps a bit compulsive, but that serves focus and determination well.
        [Rising at 4:30am for a photoshoot stirs conflicting compulsions in me – winner likely the urge to pull the covers up over my head!]
        BTW, the curves in this image are fantastic – bravo for your enthusiastic perseverance!
