This is interesting. At first I thought “Kansas” but the longer I looked, the more disturbing the corn became until the leaves took on an almost insectoid effect. Great picture, great quote.
Thanks Em! 😁 The corn is not disturbed by death but fall is a reminder that nothing lasts. I was going to go to Kansas but was short on gas money. By the way the field was alive with grasshoppers eating the leaves, how did you know? 🦗
OK here are some tips: you have to get muddy, a muddy cornfield is a happy cornfield. Next try different light, cloudy is good but the best light is close to dawn and dusk. Obsession is the real key, go to the same places over and over and over while berating yourself for doing it. And finally there’s post processing. Shoot RAW files and use multiple software programs to get the look you want. Pick your best shot, delete the rest, then delete that one and start again. Did I mention that obsession is the real key? 👨🎨
Beautiful pic and perfect for the quote. 😊

Joy received Hedy. I was thinking about you today as I passed a hundred horses (more or less) on my way to nowhere. 🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴
