    1. Thanks Kacha, I’ll tell you the secret. For the last 15 years I’ve been going out to take pictures almost every day, rain or shine. Four cameras later, several courses in Photoshop and literally tens of thousands of deleted photos and I think I may be getting the hang of it now. 😀

      1. 15 years! that’s quite a long time and dedication. It pays off! I started cooking more than 15 years ago, I practise almost every day, I like it, I throw someting in the garbage but I’m still not that good at it 😁

      1. Yes, true macro is a 1:1 ratio which requires a long lens or preferably a macro lens. For the purpose of this challenge, close up photography is just fine. My love of macro photography started out with getting close up shots with whatever lens I had at the time. For that reason, I would rather people have fun taking a close up shot of their subject whether it is true macro or not. 😊
