Perfect! And love the quote

Thanks Tina. Believe it or not I went there to photograph Ginkgo leaves but the weather had other ideas. 😉

Absolutely gorgeous. Would love a print for my wall. 🙂

Thanks Jay-lyn, I don’t think I could send you the full size image because its a very large file but if you’re serious I can make it a drop smaller. Let me know.

I am absolutely serious. I would love to hang that print on my wall. It is stunning. I could gush on and on suffice it to say this one really caught my attention.

OK, check your email in about 10 minutes and I’ll tell you how large you can print it out. You can also go to CVS or someplace like that and print one out for about a dollar.

Its sent but don’t expect museum quality, it was snowing heavily and I was mainly trying not to get soaked.

Amazing shot, Mike! Just great! I think snow suits to your style.
I miss snow very much. The temperature is below zero here but there’s no snow.
Hope you didn’t catch a cold!

Thanks Alena, I thought I was imagining things when the rain turned to snow then into a mini blizzard. Now its all melted and its almost 50 degrees (F).

It’s a good to wake up early, then it’s possible to see more weather changes.
It’s good, but I slept today for 11 hours.

And now you’ll complain that you have trouble sleeping tonight right? Its OK Alena, weekends are made for relaxing. That’s why I ran out at 7 in the pouring rain. 😛

Mike, this is exactly the sort of beauty I love about winter and that quote is the frosting on the cold cake. Perfect pairing!

Thanks Enchanting. It seems like I’m just taking photographs but later I see them as a frozen moment in time, especially this one.

Fantastic shot! The pattern of the branches brings both a certain regularity and confusion…

Thanks Karine. My first thought was to create an image that captured a certain regularity and confusion. My second thought was how to take a photo in a snowstorm without getting wet, so I found a large pavilion and took cover. 😉

So beautiful and peaceful. To exists merely for the prettiness of it. Nature is so amazing if you’re willing to look.

Thanks Kacha, its very true. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own little world that we miss the beauty of simple things.

Beautiful – the quote as well. I love it when the snow stays several centimeters high on the tiny branches.

In South AFrica if it’s rain and sunshine.. we say a monkeys wedding.. 😉 not sure why..

What do you get the monkeys as a wedding gift? 😮

You will laugh but once my son had a party and I made some punch with fruit and alcohol. The youngsters finished the punch but left the fruit. I put the bucket outside and the monkeys ate it the next day. My neighbour not knowing told me the next day that those monkeys were swinging, running and creating havoc as if they were drunk.. We did have a really good giggle because they most certainly were drunk.. 😉

I find monkeys scary because they can eat your face, and a drunk monkey is terrifying!
