Use Your Illusion Written by Mike Ross Last Dance “Death is nothing, nor life either, for that matter. To die, to sleep, to pass into nothingness, what does it matter? Everything is an illusion.” Mata Hari Leaf of the Day: Cee’s Photography 40.040036 -76.262115 Lancaster, PA, USA Related 26 thoughts on “Use Your Illusion” Sometimes it’s funny to be Russian and myopic. At first I read: Life is illusion. Lets dance. Lets dance, Mike! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply I’m dancing as fast as I can Alena! 😉 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply I guess the joke is on us then. More than you’ll ever know … LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Sounds ominous, Mike. You okay? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply I trust you to Google my obscure references if you don’t get them immediately. Its Morrissey from the album Meat is Murder. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Ohhhh…sorry. Too exhausted tonight. Shouldn’t try to respond when I’m like this. LikeLike Reply Sometimes we do have a lot to lose. Love, friendship and more LikeLiked by 1 person Reply We lose things in life, at some point we will lose everything including our body. Since everything is temporary and fleeting it might be best not to get too attached to anything. Non-attachment is like having a 50 year old bottle of scotch and not being able to drink it because you’re sober. Its frustrating but the better choice, for me anyway. LikeLike Reply They say, you need to lose everything in order to find yourself. I think the quote is pretty appropriate You are right, everything is temporary. Nothing changes, everything revolves LikeLiked by 1 person Reply They also say you need to die to be reborn but I’m having a lot of trouble with that one! 😉 LikeLike Reply This made me laugh and sad at the same time. Don’t die. I would miss all these amazing photographs 😒 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply I’m pretty sure the idea is not to die literally but thanks! LikeLike Reply My life is pretty real.. Just an illusion makes the thought of life sad as if you exist on the outskirts. 😉 LikeLiked by 1 person Reply I won’t argue with you about reality Lisa, I mainly chose the title because its a Guns N’ Roses album.
