Mike, this is a beautiful portrait. Is his mane shaved? It looks pretty short…

Honestly I didn’t notice that at the time or I would have asked someone. I have a few horse lovers following me and I will ask them if that’s something they do and why. Have a great weekend Lois!

You will laugh but I thought today about changes in everyday life. Because I somehow visited a village I planned. I just asked myself if I would be ready to live like this. First of all I started to think about that there’s nothing happening and it might be boring and that could be a reason why I couldn’t live like that. But then I thought that seeing things changing in your garden or just nature around changing on the whole would be enough. So, I can propose that depression is a state of mind that don’t give a person an ability to see any changes. Just things can’t do that. Maybe this sense was in the quote. I don’t know.

I think I projected my depression onto this horse who may just have had indigestion.

People always do so with figuring out animals emotions, so it’s ok.

And you’re the one who said horses always look so sad!

The amount of time I think the world is pointless is scary. Nice post

Sorry! I meant that often I don’t see the point to anything

That is the main philosophical question of all time, whats the point? Let me know if you figure it out or realize that you might be wasting your time and driving yourself crazy for nothing.

I try to not to think about ‘the point’ too much, because I know that truthfully there is no point to life, it’s just a cycle. Best for my health to stay away

You don’t have to think about life because you are life. Yes, I learned a few things in between blackouts and hospitals.

Great! Sometimes it helps to know you’re not the only one whose life is not perfect. Everybody’s got something to hide except me and my monkey. I don’t expect you to know that reference but I’m sure you’ll Google it. 😎

Do you mean most of the time you feel that way? Because it is scary but it might not be pointless.

I wouldn’t say most of the time, but every week there’s at least one day that I do, yes

Well my friend, I spent 25 years drinking and drugging to try to not feel that way, and of course if backfired. Try to avoid that!

LOOKING THROUGH A GLASS https://mytmbblogtv.wordpress.com/2019/10/15/looking-through-a-glass/
This post on my blog was inspired by my depression story. I went through depression at a little age with no one to understand me. But someway or somehow, I survived this. Please I hope you find this interesting

Unfortunately yes. Its not hard to write about depression but its hard to really convey the feeling, Bukowski is a master of that.

Absolutely agree, explaining depression to someone who has never been through it is too hard.

I’ve found that a complete breakdown explains it pretty well. 😉
