Thanks Debbie. The horse and I were watching the steam engine go by and we both decided that a horse eye selfie would be better than another train shot. 😉
Still after a while we take things like that for granted. I’ve actually gone there in the morning to watch the engine warm up and turned around deciding its not as exciting as it was in my mind. Fortunately on the way back is a small town full of local oddities.
A very interesting self-portrait. Lovely focus on the horse’s eyelashes. Thanks for participating in the Weekly Photo Challenge at Traveling at Wits End https://witsend-travel.com/ See you next week!
I like horses. They are good animals.

Me too Igor. What other animal would stand there for ten minutes while I took closeups of his eye?

I’m not that into trains, but I enjoy viewing your train photos. 🙂

A train is a train but a hundred year old steam engine is a trip back in time.

Do you have any posts/photos of the local oddities? Sounds like a great place to explore.

Very funny Lois! What you can also spy in his little eye if you look carefully is me holding the camera and a very drunk tourist sitting on a bench.

Ha! I saw you….and now I see the tourist….. Such a great image.

So beautiful and soulful! I love the reflection in his eye! He is really “seeing” you!

Thanks Robert. He saw me, wondered what I was doing and sat there like a professional eye model!

I saw this photo before and commented it but I looked at it one more time and it’s so piercing. Can’t stop looking into this eye. And you.
