    1. Thanks Amanda. I’m retired so I’m out every day shooting whatever catches my eye. I think maybe a quote gives the photo more meaning than just a photo of horses or whatever. They also reflect my mood at the time.


      1. Indeed. Quotes are reflective of the thoughts in one’s head. A quote can ‘find you’ metaphorically speaking. And be just what you need to hear at that time.


                1. Are you suggesting that the mind is its own place and in itself, can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven? Because at the funny farm that was a popular topic.


                  1. I think it is a christian construct which has been interpreted to be a ‘place,’ but its more a state of your mindset. I know of a few priests that do not believe it actually exists. What did they conclude at the ‘farm?’


                    1. Either that or he didn’t like the food. As to a personal hell its all an illusion, including our concept of the self. As one teacher said: No Self-No Problem.
