The Essence of Ice

Ice
Ice

Haruki Murakami said: “Ice contains no future, just the past, sealed away. As if they’re alive, everything in the world is sealed up inside, clear and distinct. Ice can preserve all kinds of things that way-cleanly, clearly. That’s the essence of ice, the role it plays.”

    1. Yes it was cool but was it cool enough? I was photographing an ice fisherman but couldn’t get as close as I wanted. After much consideration, I decided not to walk out on the ice just for a photo. I’ve been there before-if I know the ice is frozen solid its usually freezing. Thanks for visiting Robert.
