We’re All in the Same Boat

“We’re all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn’t. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing.” Charles Bukowski

  1. I think we have to re think the notion that we are going to die so that in the end nothing matters.

There is an infinity of living and breathing in death as well as life. We have regrets and we make mistakes. Life does not just end because the energy that is life does not disappear and will always be there in many guises.

If there is an eternity of living and breathing then i think i do not want to be old and discrepit but to spend my time cultivating character that is worthy of respect.

          1. Learn to find your center and hold it so that even though life sucks you are ok. All the best. Things come and things go. That is how things are.

                    1. I believe the self that we think of is an illusion, sometimes called the ego in Eastern philosophy. To act without thinking about it and simply be is the goal. As Lao Tzu said: The master doesn’t think about his actions-they flow from the core of his being.

                    2. Dont delude yourself. Or listen to someone else opinion and theory. It is what it is. Self is in plain sight. It is what it is. We have memories. We are conscious. Life is real not an illusion

                    3. Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see. It’s getting hard to be someone but it all works out, it doesn’t matter much to me.

                    4. It all depends on what we see and what we choose to do. The key to unlock the lock is in our hands. We owe it to ourself not to be lost for eternity

                    5. Thank you for playing Miss cake but I’m afraid you’ve exceeded the number of comments allowed per post. We have a lovely parting gift for you-a basket of self fulfilling prophecies.
