A lone tree is like a guardian… “I alone hold up the sky.” But I’m rather taken by trees – lone or otherwise. LikeLike Reply Standing strong! Beautiful! The tree looks to be not only in the middle of the road but between two fields, and I would love to know why the farmer (or farmers, if it is two different plots of land) preserved the tree. What a story! LikeLike Reply Its one big field Alana, part of an Amish farm full of corn in the summer. The tree isn’t dead at all its just resting! What I do miss is the N.Y bagels but I’m not eating bread these days so its a moot point. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Is it only me who sees the eerie in this photo?
